Project description

It is an end-end development project in PL1, COBOL and DB2 for Euroclear for the Single platform custody Creation.

This project manages the processing of a Global Distribution Release. There are four key events

Within this lifecycle.

A Global Distribution Authorisation Request (GDAR) is generated and sent to the Agent for approval. The GDAR shows expected proceeds for a Corporate Action event where the Agent is the System Paying Agent (SPA) but the CSD is generating the movements.

A Global Distribution Status Advice (GDSA) is sent to the CSD by the Agent, containing approval or rejection of the GDAR.

When the GDAR is approved by the Agent, resources (cash or security) are collected from the Agent's account and credited to a CSD Pivot account.

The resources on the CSD Pivot account are distributed to the client accounts.
