Project Description:

• Project CHIP (Channel Incentives Program) drives to create a centralized, accountable Channel Incentive Program with local flexibility to demonstrate Microsoft’s value transfer to partners.

• CHIP’s goals are to improve compensation transparency, increase sales impact, drive effective operations, and improve partner engagement across product types, segment and geography.

• Microsoft is currently spending $1.7B annually in worldwide on CHIP to improve sales/mix, increase revenue, and build partner loyalty. This investment is spread across 15+ standalone programs, creating an inability to administer a single partner experience.

As a Software Engineer and Tester, I am responsible for:

• Involved in interaction with the client to identify the constraints that might arise while automating test cases for this application.

Project Description:

• Office Live ( is designed to help small businesses customers and easily manage their business online by giving them the tools to establish a Web presence for free as well as a variety of easy-to-use and affordable business applications.

• Testing is done by writing automation code for P0, P1 and P2 test cases using automation framework, rest is handled manually.

• Office live 2.0 version has been released and is available in market

As a Software Design Engineer and Tester, I was responsible for:

• Serving as a SDET in Office Live team.

• Had ownership features like Shell, User/Company profile pages and Sign up

• Wrote automation code for test cases in C# using ECHOUI automation framework and MS test using visual studio team suite (ASP.NET).

• Developed front end pages for an this site of HCL using framework and C# language

• I owned the coding for the front end which involved using the queries from the backend and populating them on the page .The fields in the pages were dynamically generated depending on scenarios.

As a QA Tester for One Beacon, one the leading insurance companies involved in QA of the application, which is used by the field agents of the company to enter the data of prospective customers. This application is the Intranet application, which is used, by the agents. It offers various insurance policies to customers. It is designed for quote, new business and customer care models. Quote helps to see the premium and new business for purchasing the insurance.

As a Quality Assurance Tester, I was responsible for:

• Involved in writing Test cases and developing Test Plans

• Involved in reviewing Business Requirements and Use Cases.

• Responsible for GUI Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing and Acceptance Testing.

The objective of this load test is to determine if the ELI, as currently configured, will be able to handle the n-user/hr-peak load level anticipated. The load would be generated on the test environment as like real time environment by grouping business processes. If the system fails during the test, the results will be analyzed to identify the bottlenecks, and the test will be run again after the suspected bottlenecks have been addressed.

As a Performance Test Analyst, I was responsible for:
