I am having more than 30 year’s of professional experience in the Field of Highways, Materials and Project Management. As a Team Leader to liase with the Concessionaire’s representatives to clarify issues related to design, revision of designs, project progress and other matters regarding process and co-ordination. Also to liase with Concessionaire’s representative to issue certain orders, which needs approval also. Contacting with the Concessionaire will be frequent and regular and all information will be shared. This liaison task is particularly important for project success and essential in building a relationship of mutual respect, trust and understanding. As Project Director NHAI has experience in responsible position handling independently DPR’s/Designs/Materials of Highway projects. Experience in leading the team of Highway, Bridge, Material Engineers, and client liaison. Project delivery with proper understanding of various civil construction methods. Projects funded by WORLD BANK, ADB & NHAI. Well acquainted with the Rules/Regulations prescribed by NHAI. I Experience in testing of materials for embankment, sub grade, GSB, Hot mix Asphalt-DBM, BC etc., cement concrete plain & reinforced bricks, water, job mix formulae (as per ASTM) for BC, DBM, Concrete Mix Design as per IS, BS and other methods required. Supervision and inspection of works in accordance with IRC, MOST, APDSS and IS Standard. My experience includes working with heavy machinery, Survey, Planning, Estimation and Construction of Roads, Buildings and Bridges, Calibration of Hot Mix Plant, Pug Mill and Batching Plant, monitoring the records, verification of contract bills etc. I also have experience in quantity calculation, cost estimation verification, monitoring the execution of work with quality and various routine tests as per MORT&H Specification and as per IRC guidelines. I am well versed with the FIDIC conditions of contract.

Detailed Tasks Assigned:
Project Management/Contract Management
• Advice is provided to Concessionaire in the assessment and evaluation of the construction management practices implemented by the EPC Contractor(s) and make suitable recommendation to improve it. Concessionaire representatives have to be kept well informed about the management practices/procedures/methods adopted by the EPC Contractor to finish the work in time without affecting the quality.
• Developing project baselines; monitoring and controlling projects with respect to Cost, Resource Deployment, Time over-runs and Quality Compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects.
• Formulating operating budgets; managing overall operations for executing civil construction projects within cost & time norms.
• Conducting performance measurement, variance analysis, trend analysis and risk identification / analysis; conducting work study & productivity analysis.
Site & Construction Management
• Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilisation to maximize the output.
• Inspecting field sites to observe and evaluate condition and operability of facilities and structures, and to collect field survey data and measurements.
• Designing and implementing stringent system, detailed design and quality plans/manuals to ensure high quality standards during all the stages of project.
Resource Management
• Leading a team of professional; ensuring suitable deployment and timely availability of manpower (Designers & Engineers).
