Independent Consultant, “Human And Safety Systems” (HASSCO) Consulting & Training Company; Offers courses in Biomechanics of Injury, Automotive Occupant protection. Courses taught at Lawrence Tech University in the Biomedical Engineering (BME) Field; including FE, computational system dynamics among others. Also lead advanced research programs within several government and industrial projects that involves occupant safety protection and CAE simulations. Projects conducted with General Dynamics, NAVISTAR, USARMY (TARDEC) among others. Projects include, Crew and war-fighter Safety, Truck & Bus interior and seat design CAE, Exterior vehicle crashworthiness, Crew Safety simulation and protection against blast. March 20, 2020 – 2023

SAE Fatigue Design & Evaluation Committee
Active committee member participated in two Semi-Annual committee meetings. As part of the technical activates, we review technical presentation of research of different aspect of fatigue damage being conducted by research organizations and universities. Activity also includes offering recommendation for future projects, select technical papers that can be recognized on its merits for special rewards. Activities also include participation in technical consultation if required by other participants.
Protect Michigan Committee:
Volunteered in late 2020 to participate in the above new state committee, to offer statistical analyses of risk & benefits of new COVID vaccines (in clinical trials) and also offer recommendations as a result of said analysis. (See typical meeting invite attached)

TEC International; Lead, CAE Engineering Dept., All engineering activities related to products design development of Mechanical Systems. Using Solidworks CAE, CAD & BOM software tools with AHSS applications.
Projects include CAE of axle, chassis and suspension systems as well as powertrain components.
Use of CAE & CFD simulation and modeling packages such as HyperWorks (including meshing, optimization, linear and non-linear analysis), RADIOSS, LSDYNA, DYTRAN, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, ANSYS, ANSA and PAM Suite.
Benchmarking of different CAE-ID packages for nonlinear CAE simulation; including PAM-STAMP, DYNAFORM, AUTOFORM,CATIA v5, MATHCAD and the like Jan. 2012- Jan. 2015:
Engineering Manager, Restraints Systems Department, Autolive NA. Lead project management of restraints systems such as airbags, seatbelts to design counter measures for automotive systems to meet government regulations. Work also include dummy investigations and human biomechanics using CAE tools such as Altair hypermesh and LS-DYNA (also, RADIOSS and ABAQUS).. Projects also included biomechanics of injury risks (HIC, Nij, Tibia index ..etc) and human body modeling simulations. The group also supports legal efforts and provides technical support for government replies to different NHTSA regulations such as 208, 214, 210, 201, 213 and others. Some projects monitor and evaluate new and advanced dummies simulations such as THOR, POLAR II, BioRID, RID III...etc. Occupant analysis and simulation.
Responsibilities also include monitoring university contracts in the area of biomechanics and safety systems, training students such as Ph.D. candidates from Autoliv in safety and crash thesis project issues related to safety. Training involves use of HyperWorks tools such as meshing, plotting, scripting, optimization and analysis. Components and full body models were analyzed for optimum designs including seats, seat belts, airbags, bumper systems, IPs and various body components such as A & B-pillars. Some P/T components were also analyzed using CAE such as gaskets, engine and accessory drive brackets.
Product developed using CAE were part of different full car models such as Jeep Cherokee, Mini-Van, avenger and PT Cruser.

Projects also include biomechanics of injury risks and human body modeling simulations. The group also supports legal efforts and provides technical support for government replies to different NHTSA regulations such as 208, 214, 210, 201, 213 and others.
