Provide customer service to all applicants, attorneys, non-profit immigration liaisons and other agencies daily by offering instructions, guidelines, and feedback in both verbal and written communication in a clear and concise manner

Resolve complaints and concerns of customers in a professional and effective manner not requiring referral to higher authority and recommending solutions for those referred to higher organization levels
Make determinations on non-sensitive, routine immigration benefits and answer general to complex case-specific immigration questions from customers at the USCIS information counter for individuals from diverse backgrounds, at a level that can be easily understood by all audiences
Perform preliminary examinations of all applications and petitions for immigration benefits as well as analyzed documentation to identify applicants who are ineligible for benefits due to legal regulations, public safety, or national security reasons
Methodically plan and organize daily workload as well as manage time efficiently to ensure all cases and assignments are completed in a timely manner
Review and analyze contents of records and databases
Make accurate, timely updates to local databases to track workload and indicate the current file location to reflect all immigration related actions and biographical data in documented files.
