/ TITLES
Security Guard/Fire Brigade/Fire Guard: Responsible for Visitor/Access Control at the Entry Control Points include safeguarding, monitoring and reporting incidents of theft, robbery, criminal acts, injuries on set premises for a scholastic setting (5000 students). Protect all persons and property in view as well as, performing additional functions of Pass & ID and Dispatcher. Observe and patrol designated perimeter areas, structures and activities of security interest. Report all violations of published and/or verbal orders as well as passing all information relative to assignment to the relieving guard. Sounding the alarm and taking action when warranted in event of fire, disorder or any other emergency. Keeping the supervisor advised of changes and conditions within and surrounding the assignment manned. Turning over any money or valuables recovered to a supervisor, immediately reporting the circumstances. Deter and report persons or vehicles attempting or gaining unauthorized access or exit to areas as assigned. Escort cashier daily to bank for monetary deposits. Concierge / Doorman: Greet and determine the needs of all who enter the lobby, opening doors when appropriate. Grant building access to authorized residents, vendors and guests. Maintain controlled access of building by monitoring access. Offer suggestions, directions and reservations to all Building tenants. Knowledge of local events and venues.
Porter: General cleaning of the building, sidewalks, lobby, machine rooms, roofs and restrooms. Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming and stain removal of floor finishes. Replacing light bulbs and fixture components. Dusting, furniture and equipments. Washing walls, cleaning interior windows, glass office partitions, main lobby entrance glass and metal and elevator cab glass and metal. Emptying trash and replenishing bathroom supplies. Light plumbing, carpentry, and locksmith work and furniture assembly. Provide assistance with set-up of conference center meeting rooms when necessary. Moving furniture and personnel including file boxes, modifying furniture set-up, hanging pictures and posters and installing nameplates. Maintenance painting of building core areas and office space.
