EXPERIENCE

Jun 2020 to Present: Advantage Solutions: Retail Merchandizer: My responsibilities include going to my assigned stores to follow up on displays, product recovery, and price changing if necessary. I communicate with the management in the individual stores to make sure that their product is coming and also to try to solve any issues that may occur.

Nov. 2018 to Feb 2020: Huberts Family Outfitters: Assistant Manager. As Assistant Manager, I was responsible for opening the store by doing the daily financial audit and finding any discrepancies that may have occurred, as well as walking the store to develop associate task needs throughout the store. Walking the store after lunch to re-develop the task lists to accommodate the changing needs of our customers. By 3pm, counting down each of the registers to catch any mistakes that may have been made and to correct them if they did. The evening manager tasks would include checking with morning MOD to start the lunch coverages, as well as get all the audit paperwork together for the next day to include deposit slips, daily task lists and follow up with previous lists to move them accordingly to the next day if necessary. By 4pm, we cover the evening lunches and start the close-down by doing any returns or transfers of freight from store to another. It also would include going with another associate to the bank if a deposit needed to be made.

Oct. 2012 to Oct. 2018: Woodstock Union High School/Middle School. Food Service Associate: Responsibilities: We made sandwiches to order and my responsibility was to slice the cold cuts and the cheeses. I also needed to prep any vegetables to be put onto the sandwiches. I needed to monitor portions to keep within the guidelines established by both Federal and State regulations for calorie count. Until changes developed through the state, I helped to establish recipes with the portions and the calorie counts for state observation during our audits. During the restructure of the department, I was relocated to doing premade sandwiches for the students to serve themselves.

Jan. 2002 – Oct 2012: Price Chopper, Keene, NH. Barre, Vt, and West Lebanon, NH. Bakery Manager. My responsibilities included scheduling for department needs by cross-training my associates in several areas of the department. I did a monthly inventory of product in which I made sure of proper rotation to ensure first in and first out and to cover any weekly sales. I was responsible for the management of the bakery associates, handling any issues that arose, but also to make sure they were properly trained by me to work on their efficiency. I did a weekly buy/sell to make sure I had proper control over my orders as well as my shrink levels. I developed 2 bakeries to making successful margins with one being in the top 10.
