RN Patient Advocate
As a patient advocate, I advocate for patients needing resources, specialized, equipment, snap benefits, housing, etc. I assist patients in obtaining the necessary medical assistance and care. I familiarize myself with the pa&ent’s insurance policy, so I am able to assist them with covered services. I work fully remotely. I participate in any trainings that are necessary to stay up to date on current standards of practice. As a Resident Care Director, I manage a 106-bed assisted living community with both assisted living and memory care residents. I complete move in assessments to ensure prospective residents meet assisted living regulations to reside in our community. I gather all clinical documentation necessary for resident move ins and ensure each resident has their annual required documentation.
