An accomplished Training Director with diverse experience and outstanding career record with Municipal Police, Homeland Security, and Diplomatic and Corporate Security entities.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

I developed numerous highly successful training and capacity building programs in the Uganda Police Force as Police Academy Advisor for the U.S. Department of State in Kampala, Uganda.

As Leadership Development Manager for G4S Regulated Security Systems at the South Texas Project, a nuclear power generating facility, I created and managed the security leadership development program, conducting leadership training and overseeing the promotional and recruitment efforts of the company.

For Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. I developed new standards for security officer training and curriculum at Harrah’s properties world-wide. I also created a computer-based training program in counter-terrorism awareness.

For Station Casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada, I established the Corporate Security Training Center, which featured a comprehensive Security Training Academy that provided basic and advanced Security Officer training, Security Management courses, and instructor certifications in the various functions of the Security Officer’s job. I also implemented on-line training courses for all security personnel.

While interning at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I created the Homeland Security for Private Security officers program under a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. I also managed the grant process and coordinated the development of the program’s curriculum,

As an officer with the Henderson, Nevada, Police Department I started the training bureau, building state-of-the art training programs including a technologically advanced weapons range, a multi-media classroom, and a fully functional defensive tactics training hall.
