SUMMARY

Cyril Anoshirike is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of Community and Public Health Nutrition, Policy and Programme Development and Evaluation, Nutrition in Emergency and Eradication of Malnutrition Burden. Currently holding the position of Lecturer 1 at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has wealth of experience in research, teaching and community service. He is hard working, supportive and a team player. His research output encompass maternal, infant and child nutrition, diet formulation, food security and safety, Nutrition Interventions for all forms of malnutrition especially among children and women of child bearing age and assessment of nutritional programmes, policy and strategies. His work and contributions to the field of Nutrition is widely recognized through various publication, conferences, workshop and stakeholders meetings.

Apart from teaching the students, supervising their projects, carrying out community outreaches and campaigns on Nutrition activities.

i.I have published more than 17 publications in local and international peer reviewed journals and 12 conference paper presentations.

ii.I have carried out cutting edge researches on Nutrition and Currently, I am working of the evaluation of Community Management of Acute Malnutrition in North east and South East States in Nigeria, Breastfeeding Practices and growth of the children in Enugu State, Formulation and Development of Therapeutic Ready to Use Cookies for the managements of malnutrition and diet related diseases. (With special interest in the nutrition promotion, prevention and treatment of malnutrition for the well being of everyone especially the vulnerable people). I belong to three registered research groups and enjoy a lot of collaborations.

iii.I have attended about 12 conferences, seminars and workshops between 2023/2024 and have organized 5 conferences, seminar and workshops within the 2023/2024.

iv.I have attended many conferences, Seminars and workshops which have increased my visibility, network, and also improve my skill and knowledge for effective teaching services in my institution.
