Dear General Manager,

I would like to be considered for a position that fits my education and work experience in both education and management/administration.

I have a: Ph.D. in medical and Biological Sciences (From France), Msc. In Neurosciences and Pharmacology (from France), Bsc. In Medical Laboratory Sciences (From Lebanon), and a Diploma in administrative assistant (from Canada). I have several postdoctoral positions from USA and Canada that englobed sciences and administration.

I worked in Education and Research as well as a Laboratory manager and office assistant in Lebanon, France, USA and Canada.

I occupied a head of Department position for 4 years at the Faculty of Public Health at the Lebanese University. As a head of department, I am managing the students documents and grades and administrative/exams related matters, and supervising professors and coordinators, as well as making courses schedules for 3 academic years students. In addition, I was coordinating laboratories schedules for all the departments to use the laboratories as core labs under my supervision via organized Calendar. During this role I am assisting the faculty director via handling paperwork and communication with external companies and the general administration of the Lebanese university. I worked closely with the faculty director for 4 years administrating purchases and quotations and maintenance and inventory for all labs and the chemicals and equipment store.

Additionally, I worked as Laboratory Manager at the University of Toronto for nearly 12 years, managing projects and supervising Staff and Students and Post-doctoral fellow. I assisted in preparing applications for biohazardous materials or Radioactive materials or any related applications needed for the research work in the laboratory. I was in charge of the laboratory as office support and quotations, repairs and maintenance and invoices and other paperwork handling. The paperwork included the process of recruiting and hiring and finalizing papers for the new or leaving staff and students.

In general, I can handle several tasks in Education, research and office related tasks at once and assume my responsibility perfectly without any delay. I work long hours and I meet dead-lines in particular when it comes to grants preparation or papers publication where I was either the first or a co-author.
