Responsibilities.
Promote HSE awareness among work force and management team through HSE campaigns, tool box talks, formal trainings and HSE incentives.
Arranges training sessions for confined space entry workers, provide awareness regarding hazardous chemicals and their MSDS, heavy lift, manual handing, hot works etc.
Monitor and control all HSE matters related with project team members and sub-contractors in ensuring that the project is in compliance with the project requirement i.e. specification, safety code and other policies/guidelines related to the project.
Develop HSE plan with respect to company policy, objectives and scope of work.
Carry out site visits, and observe day to day activities.
Evaluate and report for HSE leading and lagging indicators.
Monitor and evaluates HSE management system throughout at all management level by conducting frequent audits and inspection.

I have done Inspection of SCBA on two ways, Routine Inspections and daily or after use. In routine inspection I check backpack assembly (check straps and Frame) Cylinder, (Damage & Gauge), Cylinder Secure in harness, Hose Securely Connected. Check all the hoses connection Should be secure, Low pressure should be Sound, Check all valve for proper operation.
Monitoring compliance to company HSE policies, Planning inspection, maintenance and testing schedules for all fire fighting equipment.
