With great willingness, I am applying for the position of an analyst which exist at Clinton Health Access Initiative located in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. I recently graduated with distinction in postgraduate diploma in public health and currently studying master’s in public health at the university of Pretoria. Whilst studying I am also working as a linkage officer at Anova health Institute, where I gained valued knowledge about HIV testing Services, HIVSS testing, daily, weekly, and monthly data collection, analyses, reporting and presentation of data. In this position I also assist in Mina project which strictly focuses on males that are visiting the health facilities, making me competent to conduct mini- survey on males in a community. This combination of working whilst studying has given me both practical and theoretical knowledge needed in running any future position I take.

I have worked as a youth ambassador at Anova health institution in DREAMS project, working in this project has taught me a lot about HIV and how it affects the youth. I have learnt about HIV, its prevention and treatment. I was also involved in a project of peds matrix, and AGYW. In these projects I led group sessions to young people to ensure that they are virally suppressed, they are on treatment and that they get the facility support they need, this experienced taught me to work with patients of different background’s which makes me capable and comfortable to work with other key populations. I now have a broad experience that gives potential employers the flexibility to place me in a broad range of demanding situations with the confidence that I will undertake my duties professionally and effectively.

I have worked as a student in several professional medical centers including private and public health institutes for four years and thus, I have learnt, and understand the importance of confidentiality and professionalism in a work environment.

I am competent in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, like Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint which I have spent a lot of time using and working on spreadsheets and reports created with those programs, I also have knowledge of Tier.Net system.
