BIO SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE

As a healthcare professional with an additional administrative and business background, I am desiring to integrate my knowledge into a career of pharmaceutical/medical sales. Although previous sales experience as a part-time Life Insurance and recruiting agent has been minimal, I was able to prove to be a motivated self-starter and team leader, with impressive growth performance within the organization. Contracts Analyst

Oklahoma Health Care Authority, Oklahoma City, OK June 2007-August 2016

Assist Primary Care Physicians and practitioners by providing information to those interested in possibly enrolling as a Provider for Oklahoma Medicaid.

Process Primary Care Provider contracts in a timely manner in order to meet monthly deadlines and quotas.

Traveling within assigned Oklahoma territory on certain days and Conducting site visits on behavioral health providers making sure independent providers, outpatient mental health facilities, hospice and physical therapy clinics were in compliance and keeping proper records, as well as displaying the proper signs and documentation in the office.

Analyze Provider credentials, verifying provider information, researching licenses, and certifications to make sure they are current and up to date without any suspensions or disciplinary action.

The handling of Single Case Agreements and contract negotiations with Out of State Providers who are administering care to only one single Oklahoma Medicaid member. Working with care management and finance teams to

determine the rate at which the Providers are to be paid.

The designated OHCA Liaison for OU Medical contracting and credentialing, assisting their executive staff with any questions/concerns in relation to their Master Agreement, renewals, new enrollments, claim denials, or any technical issues they may experience while enrolling or maintaining their file.
