Work with engineers to select commodity materials at good quality, right cost and unification crossing the all product lines.

Responsible for overall unit cost management and ongoing cost reduction activity and negotiate cost reductions with suppliers through win-win negotiations.

Quarterly price review with Suppliers to meet cost down target.

Perform risk analysis for risk management along with report risks and communicate escalation requirements to management.

Prepare pricing report variation strategies as directed by Director- Procurement & Supply Chain.

Define and track all opportunities for business improvement and technical requirements to drive the success of supplier relationship.

Planning the budget & adhering to the plans of Purchasing Department.

Efficiently establishing system driven control over purchasing by establishing ERP in costing.

Negotiates prices and terms.

Implementing and monitoring effective procurement & development schedules for existing & new along with finalizing the specifications of the materials and establishing the quality & quantity limits.

Streamlining the system and procedures for effective inventory control and ensuring ready availability of materials to meet the requirement. Upgrading the purchasing system to benchmark the best purchasing practices.

Establishing good working relationships with vendors through personal contact; discussing and resolving problems regarding delayed delivery dates.

Defining material management strategy and developing parts for modifications and alternate sourcing.

Sustaining existing network, scheduling & planning for supply materials distribution and ensuring distribution.

Monitoring availability of stock, making appropriate arrangements to ensure on time deliveries.

Developing long-term partnerships with suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms.

Consistently evaluating vendor performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications and supply of quality material / execution of job works.
