Personal Statement
A respectful and caring healthcare assistant with over three years of experience in providing high-quality patient care, with a client satisfaction rate of over 95%, having received numerous compliments for effectiveness and efficiency. A good listener, skilled in effective verbal and non-verbal communication, with a love for cooking and cleaning, and the desire to bring joy to patients. I possess an enthusiasm for learning new tasks and confidently maintain professionalism in any duty required of me. As a true professional who always adhere to professional standards, polices, procedures. I endeavour to positively inspire colleagues and service users in any working environment I find myself.
A graduate of Cooperative Economics and Management, with a Bachelor of Science degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, I developed the desire to care for the sick and incapacitated when presented with the opportunity to care for an ailing father who developed stroke and dementia and needed assistance in his daily living. This experience led to the decision to train and work as a nursing assistant, acquiring skills necessary to improve patients' quality of life. I am also a team player who takes pride in ensuring that the confidentiality and dignity of patients are maintained and has in-depth knowledge of how to apply care standards to individuals with various levels of care.
