SUMMARY

Aircraft mechanic with six years’ experience troubleshooting, performing daily maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems on C17 aircraft.

Troubleshoot, inspect, remove, repair and re-install defective and worn parts per specifications on routine and non-routine maintenance.

Remove and install main landing gears, proximity sensors and shock strut; nose landing gear; brake assembly and brake bleeding; rudder; flaps; elevator; spoiler; slats; aileron; and pitch trim actuator.

Utilize hand tools: ruler, thickness gauge, multi-meter, torque wrench, ball peen hammer; channel lock and needle nose pliers, adjustable wrenches, etc.

Housekeeping consistent with safety of personnel and equipment.

Read interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches and EO’s.
