Lead Maintenance Worker
Responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of the community property, identify necessary repairs needed to maintain safety,and appearance of the property, ensure the repairs are completed, inspect,maintain and repair plumbing systems, valves,drains, basins, tubs, faucets, lavatories, and sinks. Inspect,troubleshoot various types of electrical equipment, lighting, fixtures, outlets, appliances. Inspect and test Fire, Life, and Safety equipment, including smoke alarms, emergency lighting, and exit lighting. Perform small remodeling projects requiring basic carpentry skills, framing, finishing, tile, carpet laying, wall preparation and painting. Responsible for ensuring adequate supplies and materials are available and in working order, creating requests for supplies and materials, ordering supplies as needed, maintaining tools, equipment and materials including check in/out as required. Load/unload trucks as needed, operate equipment including but not limited too saws,(table/hand), drills, carts,and hand trucks, maintain maintenance storage area in safe, clean and orderly manner, prepare materials for recycling/disposal as needed, report tenant damage to Manager, power wash exterior grounds periodically, maintain strong relationships with Manager, Housing, Facilities Management, Portfolio Manager, adhere to all state/federal privacy and security regulations.
