Sales in residential and commercial with Stewart Moving & Storage. trainer to the present sales team. Created a new brand from the company due to its decision to become an independent household goods carrier. Created the logo for the trucks and sales material that would be used for in home sales and commercial sales. Created the two sales show displays for domestic transportation and another for IAM display to generate international sales for the company. My sales and action generated over $1,000,000 increase in sales the following year.
01/2007 to 12/2013 CEO Young Moving & Storage
In charge of the overall growth and quality of the company. Switched from Allied Van Lines to become an agent of United Van Lines. Received several; sales and quality awards from United Van Lines and previous awards from Allied Van Lines. Was selected as the number one quality provider for Cartus relocation which at the time was the largest relocation company in the US. Received awards each year for meeting the quality goals of Cartus Relocation.
05/1974 to 12/2006 Vice President of Young Moving & Storage
Vice President of Young Moving & Storage from 1974 to December 2006. Created the accounting system we used to track the revenue that we used to keep track of the moving & storage revenue we provided our customers. Started a records storage business in Richmond, Virginia and help grow that company to excess of $2,000,000. Developed two more facilities in Richmond, Virginia and Morrisville, NC. Each of these facilities was dedicated to providing quality service to our customers and the facility in Richmond was growing the Record Storage business in addition to providing moving services to its clients.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in accounting. A member of the accounting honor society. Took courses in computer programing. Member of the school newspaper and the Ski Club.
