CAREER OBJECTIVE:

A qualified trained sonographer and imaging technician with four (4) yrs. experience demonstrated through general hospitals and polyclinic. Much focused person, team player and opened ideas seeking to work with dynamic, vibrant and fast growing establishment to explore my skills knowledge and proficiency. Physically and mentally fit and can work efficiently under any condition with or without supervision.

WORK EXPERIENCE/PROFESIONAL HISTORY:

Work as a sonographer at St. John of God health center Bamenda (2021-20222)

Work at Family Foundation Clinic and Maternity Atuakum as sonographer and x-ray technician (2018-2020)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparing patients and explaining ultrasound procedure to patients, answering their questions, and providing support.

Programming and adjusting the scanners for the specific procedures and ensuring the transducer capture images from all angles or section as needed.

Evaluating the images for quality and interpreting the images to assist the physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases and presenting primary findings with the radiologist/physicians.

Maintaining patients’ records and medical notes on the ultrasound procedures they have undergone.

Maintaining the ultrasound equipment’s and sterilizing the procedure rooms.

Assisting radiologist with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
