20+ years of experience in senior management, B2B relationships, strategic business planning, and product innovation. I’ve worked in multiple industries including retail, technology, service, hospitality, and manufacturing. My tenure in a managerial role has offered skill development in each business discipline: financials, facilities management, fulfillment, eCommerce, 3PL, operations, sales, marketing, field training, conflict & client retention, and employee training.

This lifetime of personal and professional development provided a chance to encounter a wealthy client who needed multiple estates to be managed, a fleet of exotic cars, a pleasure craft, a warehouse, and a staggering amount of personal inventory. The 12 properties ranged from the Baja to Tejas and from 6,000 sq ft to 10,000 + sq ft. Surprisingly, I fell in love with the job like a good pair of calfskin gloves. My skills are relevant and, in some ways, well-rounded. As a young man, I spent 6 years working with Jones Woods from Canada, installing architectural millwork in high-rise buildings. I employed some of the east Coast’s finest artisans. As the owner of Zinger, I designed and commissioned furniture and ran a 21,000 sq ft hardware store that would be an inspiration for Jules at The Grommet to sell to Ace Hardware. Personally, I own a 6,000 sq ft historical landmark for the last 33 years, running the business as a guest quarter and short-term rental. I currently develop business, including contract negotiations, for a data analytics startup. Regardless of the HR Algorithms that sometimes do not connect the dots, I have a solid grasp of management, trades, material & wholesale acquisitions, and employee/vendor relations to be a dedicated Estate Manager. I am good-natured even in stressful situations and I have no reason to be concerned with a clock. I enjoy traveling and my wife, after our business (Zinger) closed, has been a PA for the last 4 years to a mutual client. The implication is, I understand discretion in respect to a private client.

I have a personal goal to not be a Norwegian crab in a bucket, rather I believe that making others successful results in my overall success and satisfaction in life. I’ve served on advisory boards for startup companies such as BagPodz, The Grand Prix Investment Fund, The Greater Tzaneen Community Foundation, and more. Living in Austin, TX has afforded me endless opportunities to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in so many different fields. Life is good!
