October 1984 – December 1987 – V.P., Account Supervisor, Mingo Jones Guilmenot
Assigned Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Lite Beer from Miller advertising accounts. Credited with the increase of 6% market share with “We Do Chicken Right” ad campaign for the former and developed the market plan, strategy and the launch of new product, Lite Beer, into the ethnic markets with the successful ad theme, “Great Taste, Less Filling” ad campaign for the latter.

($19M in billings) & the Hyatt Regency Reston {$1.2M). Managed said accounts with a 14 - person account team. Assisted development, launch & execution of the McDonald’s ad campaign, “You Deserve a Break Today” along with the strategy, creative development, & new product launch of the McDonald’s “Happy Meal” for kids.

Developed the marketing strategy, launch & execution of the award-winning, US Army advertising campaign, “Be All That You Can Be”, which produced / generated quality leads for recruiter follow-up. Credited with the creation of an enhanced, positive image for the US Army while increasing a positive public awareness of the Army’s vital role in our nation’s defense.
