Established and developed the agency’s first Diversity & Inclusion Practice and Profit Center. Developed the CEO’s Annual Diversity & Inclusion Plan & provided oversight of its execution. October 1984 – December 1987 – V.P., Account Supervisor, Mingo Jones Guilmenot

Assigned Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Lite Beer from Miller advertising accounts. Credited with the increase of 6% market share with “We Do Chicken Right” ad campaign for the former and developed the market plan, strategy and the launch of new product, Lite Beer, into the ethnic markets with the successful ad theme, “Great Taste, Less Filling” ad campaign for the latter.

October 1980 - October 1984 – Account Supervisor, DDB Needham Worldwide

Credited with the “win” of new business accounts, specifically, the National Guard Bureau

($19M in billings) & the Hyatt Regency Reston {$1.2M). Managed said accounts with a 14 - person account team. Developed marketing platform for creative & collateral materials including conducting research, selection of media and oversight of ad campaign. Assisted development, launch & execution of the McDonald’s ad campaign, “You Deserve a Break Today” along with the strategy, creative development, & new product launch of the McDonald’s “Happy Meal” for kids.

August 1975 - October1980 – Senior Account Executive, NW Ayer Advertising

Developed the marketing strategy, launch & execution of the award-winning, US Army advertising campaign, “Be All That You Can Be”, which produced / generated quality leads for recruiter follow-up. Credited with the creation of an enhanced, positive image for the US Army while increasing a positive public awareness of the Army’s vital role in our nation’s defense. Established & managed the Army’s first minority officer recruiting program.
