Duties: Reduce mechanical seal failures in the Georgia Iron Works pumps. Increase life of Angle, Gate, Ball, and Control Valves. Track all failures and trend each mode of failure.
At this position I have identified the failure and engineered out the failure by machining and teaching correct techniques of install. These lessons also are taught to new apprentices through my NCCER Millwright Classes through River Parish Community College.

August 2017: SME Subject Matter Expert Precision Maintenance Plant Wide. To improve in- house and contractor precision maintenance skill and reduce rework. In order to fulfill this task, a reliability package was developed with check list.
Developed and implemented preventive maintenance procedures for:

oChain drive alignment
oTapered and sleeve bearing.
oBelt drive alignment.
oDeveloped root cause analysis procedures for mill precision equipment.
This program resulted in a $40 million reduction gap regarding maintenance down time and production loss.
