Experience with mid to large size, multi-state employers in both union and non-union environments.
Strategic planning, design, implementation, written and oral communications, administration and managing costs and risks
Interpretation and coordination of benefit plans with company policies, procedures, contract bargaining agreements and regulatory mandates (PPACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, FMLA, ADA, IRS)
Maintenance and retention of confidential information in both written and verbal matters
Building and maintaining quality relationships both externally and internally with all levels in an organization
Quality customer service in responding to management and employee requests, consulting with employees on the manager’s and the employee’s specific needs.
HRIS benefits set-up, implementation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee and benefits data, electronic vendor file set up/maintenance and continued functionality
Development, implementation and interpretation of HR policies and procedures, with effective and efficient processes
Marketing plans, vendor selection, negotiations and ongoing vendor management, including HRIS systems, i.e. HR, benefits, payroll
Regulatory filings for SPDs, SMMs, SARs and Form 5500s
Employee and manager liaison, claims/issue resolution
Keying and auditing payroll data to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Lead benefit open enrollment from strategy and planning to process development, communications, HRIS set-up, data entry, auditing, testing and analysis

Proficient in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and PeopleSoft HRIS
