Integration of Payment Gateway with Bank CBS for NEFT, RTGS, CTS (Oct 2009 – Present)

For Indian client of Thinking Minds wanted a solution to handle bulk NEFT/RTGS transactions. So we have developed a payment gateway for it. It captures the transaction directly or through erp and processes neft/rtgs fund transfer. Payment gateway talks to RBI/Bank system for doing these transactions.

Integration of payment gateway with Bank Gateway for VBV (Verified By Visa) – (Jan 2009 – Sept 2009)

This project was done in 3 steps

1.Passing the PIT testing, in order to be a VISA merchant.

2.Then developed a VBV component which takes the card transaction details and, verifies it with VISA Directory URL, and gets back the auth result from VISA. This result goes to bank via gateway, and also it takes vbv password from user to Bank CBS/switch which verifies the user authentication. If that’s verified then the bank gives response to payment gateway. And payment gateway sends the transaction to settlement bank. Settlement bank then passes the result to payment gateway.

3.And payment gateway passes the result to SAP.

Automatic Cheque/check Clearing :

Prototype of Integration of payment gateway with check scanner is implemented.

NCDOT has a huge SAP R/3 implementation setup covering the divisions of Railways, Aviation, Bicycle & pedestrian, DMV, Ferry, Highways, and Public Transportation.

SAP implementation for Rail division has started with the blueprint of procurement, inventory management and plant maintenance module. I had responsibility to implement SAP R/3 for Rail division as SAP MM Consultant and the production support. The implementation should turn into the ROI of 4Mil per year and provide business transparency and better control over the vendor operated operations at Rail Division. The objective of the project was to replace existing vendor operated Material Management System and save money on third-party software maintenance and bring all the operations under the hood of NCDOT’s SAP practice.
