ACHIEVEMENTS

Involved in a major project (Energy plant DCS to PLC migration), where I did instrument cable routing and installation, configuration, and calibration for additional instruments and commissioning.

Successfully implemented a water detection and drain system project inside the instrument pneumatic piping network. The system is such that as soon as there is water in the line, a sensor will pick it up and send a signal to a quick acting valve which will open for a short time to drain out the water. The installation was successfully commissioned at the Energy plant at the beginning of the 2018/2019 season.

For the 2017/18 off-crop (shut down) maintenance period, I successfully overhauled, serviced, and re-installed all the critical boiler instruments that are serviced internally. This included the servicing of actuators, control valves, calibration and re-installation of pressure, level, pH, temperature, transmitters, etc.
