Educational Qualifications
MRCS – July 2010, The Royal College of Surgeons of England
MD in Surgery – August 2009, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka
MBBS – May, 2003. Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayawardenepura, Sri Lanka. 1st classes at Second MBBS and third MBBS examinations and a 2nd class upper division at the final MBBS examination with an all-island rank within the first twenty. Distinctions were obtained in Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology and Parasitology.
Academic awards
Professor Milroy Paul Gold Medal for Clinical Surgery at MD (Surgery) part II 2009 July.
Professor Senaka Bibile award and scholarship in year 2002 for the best performance in Pharmacology and a Distinction.
The best overall performance and most outstanding student award 2001 - CIC award and INFOTECH award and the scholarship in year 2001 for at the 2nd M.B.B.S. examination.
