As a Bilingual Youth Care worker with Culmen International I was responsible for the care and well-being of anywhere between 30-75 Unaccompanied Minors from Guatemala, Honduras, or Nicaragua each day (12 hour shifts/6 days per week). We spoke only spanish. In conjunction with my team we guaranteed that the needs of the Minors were met and they were fed, healthy and kept safe. Speci cally, as a bilingual youth care worker I was often the rst point of contact for the Minors if they needed help with a problem or guidance to work something out.
