Selected Accomplishments

Turned around CVN78 DoD project. Ward Leonard Electric was missing deadlines and facing cancellation on US Navy contract. Reorganized and revitalized Engineering by building a stronger, highly-motivated team.

New product line drives growth. Envipco had not introduced new reverse vending product in 10 years. Utilized Kaizen techniques to develop new products that went from models directly to tools, saving months of development.

Redefined Soft Serve Ice Cream Freezer and Frozen Carbonated Beverage, (FCB), Engineering by launching technologically superior yet elegantly simple new products into stagnant market. Positioned start up company for projected growth to $50M by 2022. Secured $20M contract with major C Store chain.

Transformed and leaned-out 80,000 sq. ft. plant. Transformed Envipco facility to lean, six sigma value stream.

Played key role in startup of Pepsi Food Service Division. New operation lacked systems and controls. Created infrastructure from the ground-up for entire division. Designed and staffed call center operation. Built quality based selling platform that won key accounts with Applebee’s, YUM! Brands, Culver’s, Red Robin, Subway and others.

Reorganized and re-staffed Crane Engineering unit. 80-person, multi-divisional engineering department was underperforming. Recast teams across multiple divisions. Brought-in top flight engineers from blue chip firms. Results included a wave of new product successes that were major contributor to company’s growth to $500M.

President/CEO/Entrepreneur PROTECHT 24/7 & Phoenix Beverage Systems Inc 2013-Present. Designed, engineered and launched revolutionary line of soft serve ice cream and FCB freezers. EPA certified HVAC/R service business throughout Orange and Seminole Counties.

VP of Engineering, Ward Leonard Electric, 2011-2013. Led engineering team in delivery of electric motors to the oil and gas industry and complex controllers to Northrop Grumman under US Navy contract for CVN78.

VP of Manufacturing, Engineering & Supply Chain, Envipco, 2010-2011. Recruited to leading manufacturer of reverse vending machines to upgrade processes, product designs, engineering and purchasing. Significant contributions in plant turnaround and new product development.

VP Engineering, Crane Merchandising Systems, 2006-2009. A $500M vending machine manufacturing division of Crane Co. Partnered with CEO in a drive for increased sales & profits. Launched eight new products annually, increased quality/reliability and improved gross margins by 30%.

Sr. Director of Engineering, Conair Corp., 2005-2006. Responsible for commercialization leadership at Waring Products, company’s fastest growing unit. Revitalized engineering and substantially reduced warranty claims.

VP of Equipment Engineering, The Pepsi Cola Company, 1998-2005. Promoted through several positions. Instrumental in Food Service Division startup, launch of new fountain valve products and building sales momentum.
