Iran :

Iron Ore

o Techno commercial assessment for mineral projects and downstream industries in Iran for raw materials requirement for setting up a captive steel plant in Iran for Essar Group. o Located, assessed & evaluated 10 no’s iron ore deposit in Iran and shortlisted few for acquisition

o Involved in commercial aspects for the purchase of Magnetite & hematite ore deposit in Iran as well as dui diligence of exploration license & other legal documents of the deposit o Copper Deposit

Completed Due diligence on Anjerd Copper Mine located at East Ajarbaizan province, 32 Km from Ahar city, Iran

Carried out geological Mapping, sampling and bulk sampling at Baft Copper Mine in Baft, Iran.

o Limestone:

o Assessed & evaluated Nian Limestone deposit at Bandar Abbas in Iran for steel grade o Acquired limestone from Private Party

o Granted Discovery Certificate, Exporation licence& Mining Rights from Iran Government. o Carried out complete exploration which include Geological mapping, Core drilling and further resource estimation in Nian limestone deposit at Bandarabbas, Iran Technical team leader for acquisition of 3 mines for (2 Iron ore + 1 Steel Grade Limestone). Zimbabwe

Iron Ore

o Initiated business development work in Zimbabwe and developed a good rapport with Industry Minister, Mines Minister and Permanent secretaries etc. at various department of Govt. of Zimbabwe.

o Completed technical due diligence of various mines / virgin iron ore deposits of Zimbabwe Iron and Steel Co( ZISCO) and finally Company was selected for 60% controlling stake in ZISCO.

o Full involvement in execution of carrying out iron ore exploration work at Mwanesi Iron ore Project of ZISCO.

Lead the programme in line with JORC standards: It includes geological mapping in 200Sq Km area, execution and handling of 10 No’s of core drill machines and 2N’o’s RC drill machine at site.

Successfully completed 60,000m of drilling within the leasehold area coordinated in preparing of geological database and geological modeling to evaluate 30BT resources of magnetite deposit and also estimated resources for DSO ore in consultation with Coffey Mining Pvt Ltd, Australia. The report is prepared based on JORC guidelines.

Completed the Geological section of Mwanesi Iron Ore Deposit for preparation of Pre- Feasibility Study report that also includes QA/ QC as Per JORC guidelines.

Evaluation iron ( magnetite) ore deposit at Ghoko-Longwe at Gweru in Zimbabwe Manganese

o .Prospecting study of Manganese study in Mashona land, East Province of Zimbabwe o Geological Litho structural mapping was carried out to understand Geology, Structure and its relation with mineralization and extent.

o Studied operational mine near Nyamapanda border of Zimbabwe and Mozambique o Beneficiation study of low grade Manganese for up gradation. o Evaluated approximately 3-4 Manganese ore deposit in Zimbabwe Limestone

o Completed Due diligence of Ripple Creek Iron Mine at Redcliff and Red cliff Limestone Mines of ZISCO.

o Evaluated 5 No’s limestone deposit, namely, Tank8, Tank 9, Tank10 & Alloy 7 & Alloy 8, in Gweru District of Zimbabwe.

Brasil

o Assessed & evaluated geological resource of iron ore of SPG Group o Geological mapping & sampling of iron ore and Chromite deposit for Vila Nova Mineraceo Company

o Resource estimation and evaluation of iron ore mine of Tokantins & Solida mine at Amapa state, Brasil.

Major accomplishment – Indian Projects

o Acquired Vijay – II iron ore deposit in Jharkhand for Usha Martin Limited through application route from Government. Carried out all statutory clearance, followed by exploration, resource and reserve estimation and project development. The mine was operational in low gestation period of 2.5 years from its grant. Currently the mine is producing 2.5 Mtpa of iron ore.

o Executed Mine operation along with support of Mine Manager taking full responsibility of quality control and accordingly the bench development was carried out

o Updation with face mapping of benches to assess the quality of ROM and support to Surveyors.

o Prepared and get it approved first Mine Plan of Vijay – II iron Ore Mine under my signature as RQP.

o Completed prospecting and exploration works for Bailadila Iron Ore Deposit -3, located in Naxal- prone area in Dantewada and is one of the most promising Iron ore belt in India. Spearheaded all site exploration works

o Geological mapping, sampling, Reserve estimation and financial analysis of Sagasahi Iron Ore Deposit, Keonjhar Distt, Odisha which was finally acquired by Essar steel Ltd. through e- auction.

o Executed Iron ore bulk sampling programme from 8 merchant mines in Odisha to collect representative sample for setting up a 12 Mtpa Iron ore Beneficiation plant in Odisha for Essar. Was a team member till finalization of feasibility report of the project. The project construction started in 2010 and currently the plant is fully operation which includes 12 Mtpa beneficiation plant and 248 Kms slurry pipeline till pellet plant located near the port.

o Joint venture for long term supply contract for iron ore fines with Ms MESCO & Ms Ahluwalia during year 2009. The said contracts are still operational Professional Experience Record:
