Created an online organization to educate Chinese adolescents, mostly males, about feminism through weekly book discussions, podcasts, research articles, and personal experiences.

Responsible for organizing the membership, coordinating activities, and leading discussions and seminars in an effort to raise awareness about feminist education in China.

Compose and edit articles for social media platforms monthly and competition submissions, including China Thinks Big, aimed at addressing the social issues facing China today.

Leadership Board Member and Testimony Collector, HiStory Retold (August 2020 to Present)

Selected to serve on the leadership board for a student-lead organization aimed at diversifying the perspectives taught in the history curriculum at State Texas public schools. The goal is to increase awareness of voices from underrepresented communities through history education.

Collect testimonials from the LGBTQ+ and Asian American communities specifically about their experiences with history education in Dallas public schools. Testimonials are collected in an effort to include minority voices and experiences.

Kenyon Review Young Writers Online Program (Words and Wonders) (July 2021)

Attended a creative writing workshop focused on exploring the existences of ourselves, others, and the world around us through the manipulation of words and imagination.

Published the prose, A Night Unspent in Beijing, in Kenyon Young Writers Anthology.

Stanford Summer Humanities Institute (Magical Realism: One Hundred Years of Solitude) (July 2021)

Attended a course analyzing the novel, One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel García Márquez.

Produced the research paper outline discussing the construction of temporalized space in OHYS and its relation to Gaston Bachelard’s The Poetics of Space and Moyan’s novels.
