I was based at the clinic with the purpose of management of the clinic, Occupational Therapy department and community therapy services in the allocated area of work.
In my area of work, I undertook management and
administration tasks as required and still treat clients (hands on). Provide rehabilitation services for clients with different pathologies, for example, Mental Illness (Psychiatric conditions), Neurological conditions, Orthopedics, Burns, Medical and Surgical Conditions, Disabilities for both adults and pediatrics, substance abuse, Congenital Deformities, Visually Impaired and so forth. Evaluated client’s function and facilitate independence through rendering Occupational Therapy Services in the South Sub District Region of Ekurhuleni District.

Participated in the formulation and review of strategies in community rehabilitation services as required.
Participated in continuous professional development and facilitate that of subordinates including junior therapists according to the regulations of the Health Professions Council of South Africa and governmental regulations (Supervision). Implemented sectional and provincial quality assurance measures.
