Due to the Pandemic, my most recent employment is with AHEPA Housing Phase 6,a retirement commuity, located in Merrillville Indiana. I have been the facility Maintenance person since January of 2020. My prior position was at Fluor Constructors in Schererville, Indiana as a Project Engineer. My employment ended when the company reduced it’s work force, and closed the local branch office. An addional position was at Heritage-Crystal Clean as a Project Manager. This was a contract temporary position through AirSwift Technical. The above employment was after my retirement from Superior Engineering in Hammond, Indiana as a Senior Project Manager for 22 years. During that time I was on site at BP Refinery in Whiting, Indiana for more than 18 years. In this position as Senior Project Manager, I was responsible for managing all engineering disciplines for several projects simultaneously. I have been responsible for interfacing with the client to initially understand and implement the scope of work to properly monitor progress and to keep with schedules. I have worked in the field with the onsite contractors, operations, and each engineering department manager to determine engineering scope required. I have interfaced with the client regularly to ensure end results that meets the client’s expectations. Career Summary
I had several project assignments during my time at Superior Engineering: BP’s Whiting Refinery, Rhône-Poulenc, Safety-Kleen, Sun Chemical, and ArcelorMittal. Some of my other employers include working as a Project Engineer for Atlantic Richfield, later known as Energy Cooperative Incorporated (ECI), Clark Oil refinery, Naylor Pipe Company, LTV Steel as a Quality Control Steel Inspector/ clerk, and Century Resources. Century Resources was a hazardous waste treatment facility.
