Middle School Art Teacher, Melvin H Krepps ; Hightstown NJ - 2017-present As a middle school art teacher at Melvin H Krepps I teach students from 6th grade to 8th grade. My lessons are based on art history and the elements and principals of art. My lessons focus on development of skills in all mediums as well as knowledge of artists and cultures.. High School Art Teacher, Pottsgrove school district; PA 2008-2015 The majority of my career was spent in Pottsgrove High School. I taught ceramics and sculpture as well as basic art and studio classes. While teaching at the high school level I also supervised NHS and won awards for scenery painting.

Elementary Art Teacher, Pottsgrove School District;Pottstown PA 2003-2008

I taught K-5 elementary art at Lower Elementary School. It was a great experience that helped me to grow into the teacher I am today. I still speak to many of my former students from Lower.

Conrad Weiser was the first school to hire me. It was a long drive from home home so I worked there for a year before finding something closer. Here I developed many lessons in multicultural art and won grants for my writing. EDUCATION
