Overview: This was a competition open to universities across the U.S.A. Teams were tasked with developing creative idea to “transcend the barriers in today’s world between abled and disabled, between real and virtual, or between the sexes” in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. My team created and developed a visor to help this with visual and hearing impairment better enjoy the sports while at the stadium. Notable Achievement:

• My team won 1st place (out of over 40 teams from various university) in the competition

• Received commendation from Panasonic Japan for developing and delivering outstanding product Lessons Learned/Skills Acquired

• Demonstrated oral and written communication by complete a formal technical report and making presentations of our project results to a diverse audience.

• Enhanced teamwork and communication skills through positive interaction with my teammates and other competitors while at the competition event
