Lead Customer Service Engineer (ATS)
Caterpillar - Alpharetta, GA
August 2008 to Present
I work troubleshooting CAT ATS's and switchgear problems with the dealer technicians in Latin America over the phone, if the technician has a problem he can't fix he call for assistance, I send them schematics and work to identify the problem and them ship the correct part. If the problem can't be solved then I have to schedule one of our technicians for an on-site visit. In addition we also schedule the switchgear start-ups. I also work with the dealer warranty and parts department making sure they have there warranty claims up to date. I also work as production coordinator for the switchgears in production for Latin America. Part of my scope of work involves giving the on-site training in the maintenance of the ATS's and switchgears in Latin America. I also am responsible for the Aftermarket Quotes.
