Job Experience:

Experience in Supervision of all aspects at Offshore Platform and Project Construction Safety, Tool Box Talk, Erection Supervision, Inspection of Equipment involved in the following activities.

Responsibilities are as follows: -

1.Tool Box Meeting with sub-contractor and company’s site engineers. Maintaining daily log-book, discussion with site In-charge on daily progress.

2.Analysis of all activities

3.To ensure all activities of the contractor at the site are carried out in safer manner. Any discrepancy or unsafe practice by worker brought to the notice of following personnel

a)Contractor’s Project Manager

b)Contractor’s Work Supervisor

c)Client Project Coordinator at site and base

4.Responsible for safety and housekeeping.

5.Organizing safety training to workforce on the use of PPE’s and safe job practices.

6.To check whether contractor has all valid certificates of equipment / competency.

7.To identify the health hazard at site and its accomplishments for preventive measures etc. noise pollution and radiation shielding into permissible limits.

8.Daily check for wire ropes of cranes, life boats, fire pumps and emergency generators.

9.To report near miss / incidents / accident as per prescribed format.

10.Checking of housekeeping, personal hygiene & galley equipment.

11.Knowledge of life saving appliances, fire prevention and fighting equipments.

12.Trained in survival at sea, first aid, fire & safety etc.

13.Conversant with precautions to be taken during hot job, welding operations, grinding operation, crane lifting, man and material transportation, vessel entry etc.

14.Site safety inspection in order to identify unsafe / hazardous conditions of work in pilling, gas cutting, welding, working at height, material handling, gas cylinder storage / handling, dismantling work etc.

15.Work permits (hot and cold supervision).

16.Mechanical erection safety, heavy duty crane etc. this includes safe vessel entry, flammable gas, testing hot and cold work, welding procedures, permit for work etc.

17.Preparation of safety check list for safe working at site. Accident / incident investigation along with preparation of reports.

18.Interaction with client and consultant and attending the safety meeting with client.

19.Interaction with competent persons for test certificated of lifting tools and tackles.

20.Control of vehicle movement and temporary electrical connection / checking of earthing.

21.Publicity / propaganda display of safety posters, safety cartoon board for workers to and increase awareness for safety, safe work practices and health hazards.

22.Inspection of electrical equipment, fire appliances.

23.Monitoring color coding of lifting gears.

24.Hold daily safety meeting on job site to raise safety awareness.

25.Conduct weekly audit of job site to enforce rules.

26.Enhance effectiveness of (e.g. Job Safety & Analysis) by participating in job planning meeting and auditing.

27.Address unsafe behaviors and conditions in the workplace by observation and interacting with the work force.

28.Prepare required training programs for work force. Specific areas of focus will be higher risk aspects of the site activities e.g. cranes and rigging operations dropped objects prevention program, fall protection program.

29.Safety – Assist Construction Manager, Supervisor in Safety, accident prevention and hazard identification and control conducting emergency drills using problem scenarios.

30.Monitor / audits the lock out / tag out system in relation to issues work permit.

31.Creating general awareness of potential hazard of H2S and its proper appropriate measure in reducing the loss in petroleum sector.

33.Conducting periodical crisis based mock drill at site and regularly updating the records.
