Professional Summary:

I have spent seven years in multinational audit firms - KPMG and E&Y in Egypt,

auditing multinational hotels. I have audited Hilton, Sheraton, banks, trading, and

manufacturing companies during my tenure, among others. In addition to diligence and

special assurance assignments throughout 30 years in the finance and audit fields.

I spent over 19 years in the hospitality industry. In my capacity as director of finance -

Starwood, Millennium, Rosewood, and Safir hotel management companies, I have

opened, managed, handed over, and restructured finance departments in different

countries, in addition, I improved hotels' financial performance and profitability,

enhanced hotels' financial policies and procedures, built and grew finance teams, issued

hotels' internal monetary policies and procedures, and unified the company's monthly

financial report.

I have worked in hotel management companies, as a corporate financial controller for

Safir Kuwait, and as an assistant area director of finance for Starwood Egypt. During my

tenure, I was responsible for reviewing tax reports for our hotels, reviewing and

analyzing monthly financial statements for 15 properties throughout the Middle East,

assigning directors of finance to those properties, supervising new properties opening,

and reviewing company financial statements.

I am also offering G.C.C. experience spanning over 13 years in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the

United Arab Emirates, and most recently in Oman and the Middle East experience.

Throughout my career in the hotel industry, I have spearhead a variety of financial

projects. Established corporate financial policies and procedures, promoted numerous

assistant directors of finance to financial controller positions, enhanced finance team

performance and accuracy in completing tasks on time. I have opened three properties

and participated in the launch of six others. Handed over two properties to Amarante and

Hilton. In addition, I have restructured the finance departments of more than five

properties, and understanding labor laws.
