Organization – Atos, India

Duration – Feb 2006 to Dec 2011

PROJECT DETAILS -

1)NRTG, UK Transport :

In National Real Time Graph, all the components related to the running of trains, was to be displayed in graphical representation, for example to display the current situation of trains in graph, to show the conflicts etc. It was implemented as browser based.

ROLE -

My role in the project were following:

-Developing test plan and test strategy

-Review of the test cases written for unit and integration level

-Analyze and write detailed specifications and Test requirement using HPQC

-Effective coordination between development team and testing team

-Writing test scripts and functions wherever necessary for various units of the business modules

2)PPH, UK Transport

In order to make the existing Application(Lennon), PCI compliance, PPH was introduced, which truncated and validated the PAN data before moving it to Lennon.

My role in the project were:

-Responsible for development and execution of detailed test plans

-Analyze test specifications and perform manual testing

-Create scripts for testing

-Test execution and Bug tracking using HPQC

-Responsible for maintaining updated reports on resolved bugs

-Coordinated with developers and system engineers to fix application defects

-Writing test cases for functional testing’

-Creating test data based on the test cases and executing the test cases.

-Using SQL for checking the output of various reports

-Analyzed system requirements and document entire software testing process.

3)Lennon, UK Transport

After the introduction of new patch, PPH, on the existing application, Lennon, of the UK transport system, it was necessary to test the application, for the impacts caused due to the new changes introduced. Atos provides the IT solution for all the Rail businesses in UK, from ticketing to apportionment, through Lennon.

My Role in this project were:

-Analyze the existing functionality, and the changes caused after the introduction of the new patch.

-Updating the existing test scripts as per the changes.

-Interacting with the developers to understand the functionality well.

-Prepare the test data.

-Regression of all the existing script.

-Test Execution and Bug tracking using HPQC.
