DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and assist the implementation of the Project Safety & Environmental Plan

• Liaison with authorities (Dubai Wharfage, Dubai Municipality and RTA), client, consultant and sub-contractors for all phases of the project contract with regard to HSE matters to ensure company is at the forefront of advancement in Health & Safety initiatives/standards.

• Put efforts in Ensuring PTW is implemented & maintained to control all critical Construction activities.

• Ensure all Plant and equipment’s are approved from EIAC Approved 3rd parties in addition inspected by company Plant Department ahead of allocating to Move at site for various Construction Operations.

• Conduct Safety Inductions for all Project and subcontractors employees on the project’s Health and Safety and Environmental requirements

• Promote an enthusiastic HSE culture that delivers positive commitment and to engage all involved parties in continuous improvements throughout the company operations

• Ensure that the Safety Inductions attended by all Project and subcontractors’ employees on the Project’s Health

& Safety and Environmental requirements.

• Hold regular toolbox talks on safe working methods for all levels of employees to promote awareness of injury prevention, and raise awareness regarding safe and environmental-friendly measures.

• Carry out site surveillance to ensure that only safe methods of working are in operation.

• Conduct regular safety inspections of Plant and Machinery.

• Carry out environmental inspections and monitoring at site and stores.
