Operational management: Establish 11million dollars in funding, developed, implement, and evaluate policy and procedures, reporting and oversight of Continuum of Care (COC) HUD funded programs, Permanent Supportive Housing, Transitional Housing, Rapid Rehousing, and Maternity Group Homes (HHS) in partnership with Clark County Social Services. Develop and facilitate programs and funding for Community Development Block Grants Develop (CDBG) programs and secure over $800k to support Education and Training Programs, which include facilitation of WIA, WIOA, and Stimulus funds, Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program from HHS in partnership with local Health District. Established Behavioral Health Program, to include establishing the only community base Parent Child Intervention Therapy Program, Medicaid contract, provider contracts with multiple public and private insurance companies, generating over half a million dollars. Assure high-level coordination for client services and deployment effort. Coordinate and facilitate the myriad of activities related to the successful local and national reputation of Southern Nevada Children First. Manage the day-to day operations of the organization, monitoring projects and budgets ensuring that mandates are executed in an effective manner consistent with organization policies. Effectively balance resources with need. Manage organization staff and volunteers.
Fundraising: Spearhead the identifying and writing of grant proposals, community event, agency fundraising events, recruiting and assisting local groups and clubs to host fundraisers on our behalf. Generated over 11 million dollars in monetary donations and multi millions in in-kind supporting up to 2 million dollar annual budget. Secured 20K sq. ft. building donation from community partner, Stations Casino. Identify potential Federal and State initiatives and partnerships to build the community and generate revenue for the purpose of enhancing the original mandate and goals of the organization to support Homeless, pregnant, parenting youth and young adults.
Administration: Fulfill administrative requirements of Southern Nevada Children First including: assuring that the By-Laws of the organization are adhered to; actively participating in Southern Nevada Children First Board meetings as a non-voting member; sign contracts and other legal documents on behalf of the organization; establish all administrative policies and procedures.
