PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

Data Scientist familiar with gathering, cleaning and organizing data for use by technical and non-technical personnel. Advanced understanding of statistical, and other analytical techniques. Highly organized, motivated and diligent with significant background in reviewing data for trends and outliers from a variety of cohorts.

Briefly, I have worked in a clinical trials laboratory for many years. I’ve been responsible for performing analysis, maintaining and troubleshooting large and small chemistry analyzers, managing other technologists, in charge of quality assurance and monitoring of quality control, evaluating data using previous history and statistics to recognize patterns for different study populations, and have provided oversight and management of the last remaining US CDC CRMLN laboratory which through standardization certifies the accuracy of many manufacturer's analytical methods for cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.

I'm very good at thinking out of the box and would appreciate the opportunity to use my communication skills, statistical data evaluation, an eye for quality, and working together to help make a difference in the lives of others.

I am looking for a position at this time because the U of W has decided to close this laboratory due to budget constraints.
