I have been a successful part-time professional photographer. This experience has enabled me to develop a professional attitude toward our customers. I have photographed weddings, runways, model portfolios, still life and nature as well as commercial. Although film and darkroom processing is no longer being used, I have many years of darkroom experience and have recently closed down my darkroom.

All my work has been digital since the year 2000

2010 to 2020 Salem Dental Lab, Cleveland, Ohio

Salem Dental Lab as a Distribution Specialist with duties as a driver for delivery

for delivery and pick up of the dental cases. My communication skills have allowed me to interact with professional clients such as Dentists and Assistants in order to deliver quality customer service.

2002-2010 Retired from Ford motor Company Brookpark, Ohio, Senior Quality Analyst

1997 to 2002 Cleveland Engine Plant (CEP) #2, Senior Quality Analyst, Quality Satisfaction Section. New vehicle launch, (Contour/Mystique) 2.5 liter and (Taurus/Sable) 3.0 liter V-6 engine and (Jaguar) soon to follow. At this plant I traveled extensively to dealer locations in the U.S. and Jaguar Assembly Plants in England. I was on the team of Engineers to establish criteria and specifications for the remanufacture of the 2.5 and 3.0 liter engine to be used for exchanges and consumer purchase. This required meetings in Dallas, Texas.

Duties and responsibilities include assisting the U.S. dealers with customer concerns. Steps were analyzing the concern, making recommendations for the proper repair or exchanging the engine and communicate to Management the potential repeat concerns experienced in the field; the first step in Recall Prevention. In addition, I collected and compiled the statistical data and prepared charts and graphs for the weekly/monthly quality meetings. I also forecasted production requirements for the following month’s projected engine exchanges.

1991 to 1997 Cleveland Engine Plant (CEP) #1: Senior Quality Analyst, Quality Systems Office

Duties and responsibilities remained the same except for the 4.9 and 5.0 liter truck engine and the Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis vehicles.

As the systems person, I maintained all computer stations and printers and backed up all databases. By attending monthly meetings in Dearborn, MI, I was a team member assisting in updating the present computer program for the direct input of dealer/vehicle data. I worked with the Power Train Quality Team at the Body and Assembly Plants and traveled to the Assembly Plants and U.S. dealer locations on quality issues.

1982 to 1991 CEP #1: Supervisor, Assembly Operations 5.0L Engine. Supervised every area

of the assembly line, set up and organized repair operations in-plant and off-site. Traveled to Body and Assembly Plants with hourly personnel to investigate and correct problems, acted as liaison to Body and Assembly Plants and Dealerships. Created computer programs for the collection, storage, retrieval and reporting of statistical data for quality, production and downtime. Trained clerical and other department personnel in the use of the computer. Maintained all computer and related equipment for the department.

This process was carried over to the 5.0L assembly line and enhanced by the use of the computer and programming.

Assisted in the installation of the Wilson Automation (first automated assembly line at this site) at CEP2

Supervised hourly employees in every area of the Wilson Automated Assembly Line from 1969 to 1982 at CEP2. An important part of my duties was to collect and record down times for the department. This proved to be a valuable tool for maintenance and the data, however, was all entered by hand into a log book. The process was carried over to CEP1 on the 5.0L Assembly Line and was enhanced by the use of the computer and Lotus 123 and dBase programming. To my knowledge, this program is presently used daily in 4682 department.

I am proficient in the use of the personal computer and have written programs for the collection, storage and retrieval of statistical data for Quality, Warranty, Production and down time. I have since developed a Decision Analysis program using software purchased from a company called Emerald Intelligence. A two-day seminar was necessary in order to be able to use the program for developing the decision tree. Working with the Systems department in Dearborn, I have assisted in the development of an upgraded system for the input and reporting of data as reported by the dealer body to the Engine Exchange and Prior Approval Programs. All engine and transmission plants are now using the same system for dealers calling in on the hotline.

My past duties as an Engine Exchange Coordinator at CEP1 are similar to my present duties and I was responsible for collecting and compiling statistical data and preparing charts and reports for weekly/monthly quality meetings. In addition, I was responsible for maintaining the computer and telephone system for the Quality Office.

CEP2 duties are as follows:

Advise and resolve customer concerns communicated by U.S. and Canadian dealerships in conjunction with the Prior Approval and Engine Exchange Programs.

Back-up file server to tape was performed manually and has since been updated to an automated back-up procedure performed in the computer center at CEP2.

Coordinate CQIS program updates with Powertrain Division.

Represent plant at monthly division quality workshops and weekly quality meetings.

I am knowledgeable of the Powertrain systems and operation (especially engine problem analysis), Corporate computer systems (CQIS, CMMS, WERS, etc), PC operation and software including MS Excel, Windows, Harvard Graphics, MS Word and Powerpoint.
