(3months in government rural health centres, 2 months each in General medicine including Dermatology, Casualty / Emergency and Psychiatry, General Surgery including Orthopaedics, Opthalmalogy, ENT and Radiology, 1and months each in OBG and Pediatrics).

Sep 1995 – May 1996 : Tutor in Anatomy, JSS Medical College As Tutor in Anatomy Department at JSS Medical College, Mysore, where in 1 st

year Medical and Dental students were taught all aspects of Anatomy such as Dissection, Histology, Osteology and Lecture classes were conducted.

Sep 96 – Nov 2002 : Medical Officer in Indian Army Served short service commission in Army Medical Corps for 6 yrs (From September 96 – Nov 2002), serving in difficult hilly and extreme weather sectors of India with military hospitals of Indian army. Was commissioned as Captain in Indian army and promoted to the rank of Major at the time of release from service. During the service with army, handled mass battle casualties and routine trauma patients.

Jan 2003 – Dec 2005 : Postgraduate Resident in MS (Orthopaedics) Worked in INHS – ASVINI, Navy Command Hospital, Mumbai (1000 bedded most modern armed forces hospital with laminar airflow OT) as part of Masters in Surgery (Orthopedics) course. Trained in all subspecialities of Orthopaedics such as Arthroscopy incl ACL and PCL reconstructive surgeries, Paediatric orthopaedics, Ilizarov technique besides fracture management.

Mar 2006 – Dec 2006: Clinical Assistant in Orthopaedics Worked as Clinical Assistant under Senior Orthopaedic Consultant, New Delhi, assisting in OT for various orthopaedic surgeries such as fracture fixation, Spine surgeries, Knee arthroscopic procedures and Joint replacement surgeries. Managing the patient in postoperative period upto the discharge from hospital.

Jan 2007 – Nov 2007: Registrar in Orthopaedics

Served as Senior Registrar in Orthopaedics, Dept of Orthopaedics, Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt, which is a 500 bedded major army hospital. Was responsible for seeing patients in OPD, inpatient (average 60) and performing various orthopaedic surgeries. Was responsible for maintaining the daily notes, in- patient care, postoperative management and monitoring the physiotherapy.

Nov 2007 – April 2010 : Various Hospitals at Gurgaon, Haryana Worked as an independent Orthopaedic surgeon at various private hospitals in Gurgaon, Haryana. Independently, performed various fracture fixation surgeries and Knee arthroscopic surgeries.

May 2010 – Aug 2011 : Speciality Registrar in Orthopaedics Worked as Specialist in a medical centre with Gulf healthcare International, Dubai, UAE.

Sep 2011 – May 2012

Worked under Upper Limb Consultant, Ninewells Hospital, and University of Dundee, UK as part of MCh Orthopaedics course.

Worked as Specialist, Dept of Orthopaedics, Army College of Medical Sciences and Base Hospital, Delhi Cantonment in Shoulder and Knee Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty.

Worked as Specialist, Orthopaedic surgeon, Al Raffah Hospital (Aster DM healthcare group), Muscat, Oman exclusively performing shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgeries.

May 2015 - August 2016

August 2016 - Feb 2018,

Working presently as Specialist, Orthopaedic surgeon, Al Raffah Hospital (Aster DM healthcare group), Muscat, Oman exclusively performing shoulder (Bankart Repair, Rotator cuff repair, Subacromial decompression) and knee arthroscopic surgeries (ACL, PCL reconstruction, meniscal repairs, Baker cyst excision, Cartilage repair and restorative procedures) besides hip and knee joint replacment.
