Iranian Oil Ministry-Khangiran Gas Refinery/3rd refinery of South Pars Gas Complex (SPGC)
Some of key responsibilities are listed as below:
- Geotechnical and structural design/check/rehabilitation of on-site and offshore structures such as pipe racks, equipment foundations, industrial shelters, above ground or underground reservoirs, connection roads, open tail water ponds, outfall open channels, retaining walls, slope stability, sea lines and relative connections via finite element tools based on national codes and domestic marine considerations.
- Feasibility study and rehabilitation method for disturbed industrial structures such as pipe racks, onsite and offshore trains due to abuses, operational events, unallowable loading, corrosion.
- Feasibility study and rehabilitation method for damaged industrial onsite and offshore foundations due to settlement or corrosion.
- Feasibility study and rehabilitation method for damaged retaining walls and earth fills due to settlements or unallowable horizontal deflection according to national codes and marine considerations.
- Preparation of design scope, cost estimation and cooperation with contract department in order to select qualified consultant/design team.
- Cooperation with and managing the consultant/design teams via technical communication, determination and allocation of technical tasks, technical control of design process including calculation notebooks and design steps, construction drawings, cost estimation and price lists, time scheduling and tender documents.

- General supervision on the site investigation process such as coring (wash boring, continues coring) and sampling (disturbed core barrel and SPT sampler) and undisturbed (Shelby) and in- situ test including SPT, CPT, Plate load test, pressure meter test, van shear test.
- Geotechnical investigation planning (boring arrangement and drilling depth determination), type and number of in-situ and laboratorial tests
- Test result analyses and representative parameters determination
- Geotechnical calculation including bearing capacity of shallow foundations and deep foundations (offshore and onshore), slope stability analysis, liquefaction

- Performing the parallel checks of different geotechnical analysis including the ground stability, tunnel induced settlement, soil pressures around the segmental tunnel line, etc. by modelling and running the numerical analysis.
- Field and laboratory testing plans for the geotechnical site assessments,
