• Receive RFI (Request for Inspection) and arrange tools and facilities to complete inspection within planned time.

• Perform Dimensional Inspection activities at various stages of production i.e., part production, fit up and Final product ensuring that all measuring instruments used for checking are Calibrated.

• Ensure compliance by the Production Department to the GSW Drawing Requirements - Specifications / Clients Drawing Requirements - Specifications / GSW ITP or Work Instructions.

• Perform Inspection checks on Sub-Contract / Client supplied items and factually document the findings.

• Carry out the material inspection with client inspection team (if required) and prepare inspection reports.

• Prepare stage wise inspection report for further analysis and defect prevention.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans, Inspection Reports, Punch Points, Risk Assessments etc. for the development of QA/QC procedure regarding Piping, Pipeline, Welding, Coating, Painting and NDE according to the project specifications as well as HSE requirements & work instructions.

• Inspection of incoming welding, painting, coating, blasting, Insulation, fire proofing materials as per project specifications.

• Carry out day to day field inspection for blasting, surface cleanliness, painting & coating works like; Pipes, Steel Structure, Pipe supports & HSS application etc.

• Review the Test Packs & witness, A/G and U/G Hydrostatic Tests of the piping spools & flow lines.

• Witness of the cleaning, pigging/gauging, pressurization, depressurizing, de-watering, air drying and purging activities for the flow lines at site.

• Monitoring the pre-commissioning as well as commissioning activities like; Hydro test of piping & pipelines, leak test, flushing, cleaning, drying, system, systematic conformity check of equipment’s, static, de-energized test of equipment & box-up activities.

• Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
