An engineering student from a sound academic background and ever willing to learn. With original and creative thinking, has led engineering design teams in developing solutions to solve some human problems by applying human-centered design thinking processes. Passionate about learning energy and engineering management in order to create transformative solutions to combat environmental and energy issues through an integrated approach, combining technological development and innovations together with the consideration of human, social and economic factors. I don't limit myself because I am curious, and curiosity keeps moving me forward. LANGUAGE SKILLS

EDUCATION AND
TRAINING
[ 15/10/2015 – 28/06/2021 ] Bachelor of Engineering. BEng(Mech)(Hons) (4.67/5) (3.8/4 WES Equivalent) University of Nigeria, Nsukka https://www.unn.edu.ng/ Address: UNN Main campus,Nsukka Road, Ihe Nsukka 410001, Nsukka, Enugu State, 410001, Nsukka, Nigeria
WORK EXPERIENCE
[ 26/11/2021 – Current ] Researcher
Personal Research
City: Enugu
Country: Nigeria
Main activities and responsibilities:
The drive for sustainable vehicles took me a step deeper into the field and the knowledge from the Wonsulting collaboration spurred another research. Currently researching "Improvement on range covered by solar vehicle" as EVs are challenged by the continuous need for battery recharge. Using flexible monocrystalline solar panels fused as the body of the electric vehicle thus forming a Solar Hybrid Electric Vehicle (SHEV). Based on theories and simulation, even during low insolation in Africa (Nigeria), it would improve the performance of the EV by increasing a Tesla-S (test model) average distance range of 300miles to about 500miles.
[ 10/03/2021 – Current ] Technical Lead Innovator
GreenChef
City: Enugu
Country: Nigeria
Main activities and responsibilities:
Led a team of 5, wherein we deployed a design thinking approach via empathy, ideation, and testing to develop a Clean Cook Stove for last-mile communities in my locality.
We are solving the health and environmental perils of open-fire cooking in last-mile communities in Nsukka, Nigeria. This predominantly inefficient cooking method is not a sustainable approach as it harms the environment and our planet at large. It is the leading cause of unsustainable fuel harvesting and deforestation, accounting for 55% of the global wood harvest.
I was tasked with the research and design of the CAD model using Autodesk Fusion 360 software.
[ 02/02/2021 – 28/06/2021 ] Student Researcher
University of Nigeria
City: Nsukka
Country: Nigeria
Main activities and responsibilities:
An undergraduate research project work on "Thermo-electric cooling of Agricultural produce during transportation".
Carried out extensive research on the major problem facing agricultural produce
(fruits and vegetables) in Nigeria.
Using alternate energy (Thermoelectricity) as a clean, cheaper, and eco-friendly energy source as against the mechanical gas cooling system which releases exhaust Chlorofluoro carbon to the environment.
Ideated on renewable energy source as power input - Solar energy and exhaust heat from the engine of the vehicle.
Design, fabrication, and testing of the prototype.
[ 10/10/2020 – 31/10/2020 ] Team Lead
Wonsulting Global Virtual Collaboration.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Lead a team of four (4) from different countries during the outbreak of Covid-19 in the Wonsulting Global Virtual Collaboration on LinkedIn to research "Problems facing Electric Vehicles".
Discovered the problem of the charging system, whereby EV companies have different charging systems for their vehicles, thus vehicles can only be charged in a distinct electric charging station using distinct plugs. Researched ways to solve this problem and ideated to design a CAD model for a universal charger that could be used to charge 3 EVs (Tesla, Toyota, and Nio), thus several vehicles can charge at the same charging station. Pitched the team's solution at the virtual Wonsulting Global Collaboration conference.
The project was nominated among the top 100 projects among other participants.
[ 03/07/2019 – 23/12/2019 ] Mechanical Engineering Intern Future Oilfields Service Limited
City: Lagos
Country: Nigeria
Main activities and responsibilities:
As a mechanical intern, I was deployed to the Maintenance, Operation, and Technical Unit wherein:
Under supervision, I was responsible for daily maintenance of the equipment in the Future Automation, Calibration, and Technical Services Laboratory. I was tasked with the regular statutory monitor and report of the status of jobs executed by field engineers and provide promptly the necessary support for their operation.
Carried out profit and loss analysis and constructively ensured a gain of over 500% after Flow meter purchase and installation at Heritage Oil. Responsible for the provision of technical support to the operation team/field engineers on sites.
Carried out Quality Assurance Quality Control on equipment received from OEMs and/or items in the company's warehouse.
Responsible for carrying out bump tests and calibration of instruments (Sound meter, Particle counter, Gas detectors) using the Timeselctronic Calbench, and also repairs of the Gas detectors (Altair 4x, 5x).
VOLUNTEERING
[ 23/01/2019 – Current ] Gray2Green Movement University of Nigeria, Nsukka Led public enlightenment of the perils of climate change and actions to take in order to mitigate its effects.
Team lead of "Operation Keep UNN clean" campaign, to ensure proper disposal of refuse and waste within the walls of UNN.
Actively participated in Earth's Day Movement.
Online presence manager - used my coding skills to build a website for the movement, and provide opportunities for aspiring coders to harness their skills through blogging.
