I am an Electrical Engineer with 11+ years experience in both industrial and construction areas. I started my career working in ADNOC Fertilizers Company in UAE western region (direct hired). Electrical Site Engineer – MEP Supervision

Review and approve all electrical services shop drawings, material submittals and BOQs.

Follow up with the Contractor to receive all contract documents prior to construction commencement.

Conduct a daily site inspection to ensure that the work at site is as per specifications, Authority regulations and permissible quality control valid procedure / guidelines

Comprehensive follow up for installation and T&C of LV and ELV systems as per approved material submittal.

Ensure that the materials at store are according to the approved materials submittals.

Attend technical meetings with MEP contractor and suppliers to clarify process of approval of materials, workshop drawings and execution of work at site.

Monitor site progress and raise site observations, instructions and NCRs if necessary to influence the quality and to force the contractor to follow QC procedures and K&A specification in case of our design

Follow up with the Contractor for status of electrical authority’s approval NOC.

Review the contractor payment and compare the percentages submitted by the contractor with the actual on site

Monitor all safety aspects of the project and ensure strict adherence to the safety regulations as dictated by the HSE engineer

Prepare regular progress reports for review by the Project Manager.

Support the Project Manager in preparing and replying to correspondence letters.

Support Project Manager with managing client relations and expectations, as needed

Senior Electrical Engineer – Day to Day & Turnaround FERTIL (ADNOC GROUP) DEC 2009 – JULY 2017

Witness and inspect in coordination with the vendors the installation, testing and commissioning and the operation of newly installed electrical systems and assets.

Planning and coordinating daily preventive and corrective maintenance work in-conjunction with operation and maintenance departments to ensure that electrical jobs are carried out promptly and efficiently.

Responsible for smooth operation of power distribution system including steam turbine generator, Diesel Generator, electric motors, drives and 415, 3.3, 11 and 33 kV switchgears.

Investigate and troubleshooting electrical failures.

Ensures that all electrical maintenance work and troubleshooting for electrical faults a nd problems in plant and substations related to switchgears, protection relays, cables, VFD, UPS, motors, Conveyor system is carried out in accordance with professional standards to best serve the achievement of production targets and plant / equipment integrity.

Ensures that electrical maintenance work is carried out in a safe manner by adhering to company HSE system and procedures.

Participates in regular safety and housekeeping audits and ensure actions are implemented.

Delivered two major turnarounds and unplanned shutdowns in ADNOC within the time, scope and budget.

convert Electrical maintenance schedule in old plant from hard copy to digital using MAXIMO program.

Prioritize critical assets maintenance schedule in cooperation with operation division.

Revising and amend the spare parts stock in cooperation with warehouse and electrical manager. some materials were Obsolete with no alternatives. I checked in local and international markets for alternative and update them in system.

Decreased the maintenance budget by conducting meetings with the manufacturers and amending the maintenance plan of newly installed electrical equipments.

Coordinate with ATLAS telecom company to change the walki talki system to TETRA which is more clear, wide range and integrated with police.

Increase the reliability of electrical distribution system by changing the old contact relay system to PLC. In addition, retrofitting RMUs relays and changing old oil and air MCBs to new vacuum MCBs.
