Computational Fluid Dynamics studies on
flow past
Bahal, Haryana
In our project, the flow past laminar and supercritical airfoils in transonic flow is analyzed using CFD
techniques
The CFD software FLUENT is used for studying the flow phenomena. The flow phenomena are studied for Mach
number of 0.9 at an angle of attack of 4 degrees. A comparison is made of the results obtained for laminar and supercritical airfoils. As a separate study the flow past a laminar airfoil with ice-accretion is made. CERTIFICATES
