Wound and Ostomy Nurse April 2019-current
Currently I work as a wound and ostomy nurse in the Kettering Hospital full time. My roles include collaboration with other wound nurses, primary nurses,
Physicians, nursing assistants, and others. I assess each patient, determine
what is needed for their current situation, order, and implement the tasks.
These may include dressing changes, wound vac management, ostomy
education, and other skin integrity management.
MSICU April 2017-Nov 2019
Working in the Trauma ICU has required a great deal of skills and
collaboration. Some of the work performed include, charge nurse,
basic nursing skills, education, working with physicians to
insert central lines, bedside procedures, rapid infusions,
massive transfusions, CPR/ACLS, rapid response team,
